This is an Original Spectacular Signed Large Vintage Native American Fly Insect Bug Brooch in Sterling Silver with High Grade Turquoise in a Hand Stamped Setting by Renown Apache Artist Al Somers, Hallmarked!

This Rare Insect Brooch was created by Artist and Silversmith Al Somers. Al Somers, a native of Arizona, was of Apache, Blackfoot, French, and Scottish ancestry. He learned techniques from Navajo Diné silversmith masters. He was known for incorporating the rarest and highest grade stones into his work which he had collected over the years. His pieces are very collectible and sought after for their distinctive character and quality.
