Ava Marie Coriz was born in 1948, into the Santo Domingo Kewa Pueblo. The Santo Domingo Kewa Pueblo is one of the largest most prosperous of the Rio Grande Pueblos in New Mexico. Ava Marie carried on the Native American tradition of making jewelry as she was taught by her father Lupe Pena. She won many awards in New Mexico and continued to create outstanding jewelry until her death in 2011. Everything is in Excellent Vintage condition.
