Antique Victorian Paste LOCKET Gold Insert FRAMES Old Photos

SOLD A Beautiful Large 1-1/4" Antique Victorian Paste Locket with Prong-set Paste Brilliants and Floral Engravings, complete with Original Gold Insert Frames and Old Sepia Tone Photos of a Baby and a Young Man, Front Inscription, Back Script Initials, Signed J.M.F.& Co circa 1890's!

Measurements: 1-1/4"in diameter (not including the bale or top jump ring). Excellent Antique condition.

The Interior is signed J.M.F.& Co.on a frame. J.M.F.& Co. was founded by John Melatiah Fisher and Charles R Harris in Attleboro, Massachusetts in 1879. Their original name was Harris and Fisher until Charles Harris retired in 1885. The firm became known as the JM Fisher Co. using the stamp J.M.F.& Co. as with this Locket.

This Antique Victorian Locket features a Silky Satiny Gold Filled Setting with Fine Detailed Crisp Engravings encompassing the front. The Brilliants are tightly set with prongs. All have a intense sparkle with some which are a little less bright.

It has a gleaming Gold Interior with the Original Frames, and Old Photographs. On Front it is inscribed "Father & Mother to G.W.G." The back has the Script Initials O.C.G. to L.F.G.. If these are your Initials then you have it made! Stranger things have happened. It is in Excellent Antique condition. It has a proper working hinge, a nice tight seam and closes securely with a definite click. All Parts are Original.
